Welcome to Dollard Figure Skating Club

 

The Dollard Artistic Skating Club is a non-profit organization that is a member of Skate Canada and Patinage Québec. The club is managed and administered by a Board of Directors, all of whom are volunteers, and its mission is to deliver Skate Canada programs.

The objective of CPA Dollard is to offer all residents of Dollard-des-Ormeaux an adapted, safe and user-friendly learning program. The programs are open to all skaters: children, adults, recreational and competitive.

All programs are taught by certified professional coaches from the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Skate Canada programs are based on the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model. The goal of LTAD is to help coaches, parents, volunteers and administrators create an environment in which skaters can develop and reach their full potential in sport, whether they are interested in recreational skating or skating. competitive skating.

The programs offered are: CanSkate, StarSkate, Competitive, the Patinage Québec Studies program (Concentration & Sport-Études).

 

2021 Annual General Meeting

The CA is inviting you to the 2021 Annual General Meeting of the Dollard FSC that will be held on August 16th 2021 at 7 pm on Google Meet. The AGM will be followed by a short Extrordinary Meeting at 8:15 pm on Google Meet. This meeting is deemed necessary to allow the Board to do modifications in the letters patent.

Registrations for the CanSkate program are open for RETURNING DDO residents (skaters) ONLY.

Look in your emails to find the registration link.

 

Please, read carefully what follows :

  • We will only allow returning skaters that do not need assistance to move/stand on the ice
  • We will accept new skaters 5+ years old only, and that do not require assistance

Our coaches and program assistants are not allowed to touch/assist the skaters during Covid. If your skater cannot skate, stand or fall and get up on their own we cannot accept their registration. Please understand that this is due to Covid, we hope to get back to normal soon!

Phases of registration for Canskate

Please respect the phases for registration, we will not refund any administrative fees that incur if you have not registered accordingly.

Sept 14 – 17: RETURNING DDO residents (skaters) can register
Sept 18 – 21: RETURNING NON-residents (skaters) can register
Sept 22 – 24: NEW DDO residents (skaters) can register
Sept 25 – 28: NEW skaters (5+ who are independent) can register

Registration will close October 10th 2020
Spaces are limited (only 24 skaters permitted on the ice)

Fall Canskate schedule

Saturday: October 17 to December 19 11:30-12:30 (10 weeks)
Sunday: October 18 to December 20 10:00-11:00 (10 weeks)
